This 21-year-old pro baseball player is a millionaire who lives out of a VW camper van

Daniel Norris

In 2011 Norris signed with the Toronto Blue Jays, immediately making him a millionaire. Typically signing bonuses are millions of dollars and athletes use that money to buy lavish homes and cars.

Instead Norris decided to buy his dream car, a 1978 Volkswagen Westfalia camper van which he also decided to live in. His van's name is Shaggy.

Norris trains year round by surfing, rock climbing, hiking and other outdoor activities. His teammates have joined him on camping trips and see the benefit of being in the wilderness. However, baseball is still Norris' top priority.

Norris likes the nomadic lifestyle that he's been living for 3 years, saying that it keeps him grounded a midst the fame of being a pro athlete.
